In keeping with the Christmas spirit of Currier and Ives, we're maintaining a tradition of going into the woods in early to middle December to find and cut our Christmas tree.
For the first time this year, we videotaped this expedition with the intention of sharing the experience with other family and friends wherever they may be.
Zach was the chief videographer this year, using our brand new Flip digital video camera. He was less than steady, however, in hand-holding the camera, so the results are decidedly on the jiggledly side.
I hope, however, that they will convey the essence of the occasion and give you a small taste of Jack Frost's magnificent artwork in the northland.
